Plannig the summer

SUMMER

Now it's summer for me because the weather it's like in summer, and I go to the beach with my friends like we do in summer. The summer is a period of time to be relaxed and funny. This summer we are going to organize some parties in the beach or in the disco. Some people are going to work this summer bur I'm not.
I wil explaned what I will do:
In 25th June, on my birthday's day, I'm going to go to Ibiza with my family, so I can't go to school to catch for my marks.
Then, on 2nd of July I'm going to Florida with my friends: Silvia, Laura, Carla and Marina. We are going to stay one month to learn and improve our English in different American's family's but all of them are situated in Jacksonville. I hope we are going to have a fantastic days with a good experience.
In August the things will change a little bit. I want have a relaxing days with sun, so I will go to Almadrava Beach during one week approximate. The others days, I will stay in Peralada and sometimes Figueres city. Now, I don't know the days will stay in each place.
In September I will prepare all things to start good 1st of Batxillerat. I don't know what more I will do.
I want remember this summer like the best in my live because I'm not going to work so I want live these days with happiness.

My favourite bang

My favourite band is La Oreja de van gogh. It is Spanish band and it was formed in San Sebastián in 1996. The name of the band references the famous post-impressionist painter Vicent van Gogh who cut off the lobe of this own ear. The original members were Pablo Benegas, Álvaro Fuentes, Xabi San Martín, Hartiz Garde and Leire Martínez. Their poetic sons, both lyrics and music, are written by Pablo Benegas in collaboration with Xabi San Martín. The themes of their songs usually include love, friend-ship and whatever can success in relationships.

Since 1996, they have sold more than 6 million copies worldwive of their four albums. In 2007, lead singer Amaia Montero announced that she would be leaving the group to begin a solo career. In 2008 Amaia Montero was replaced by Leire Martínez.
Their first album, Dile al sol, debuted in 1998. It went to the top of the Spanish musics charts, and won the Premio Ondas. After numerous tours, the group released two more albums: El viaje de Copperpot and Lo que te Conté mientras te hacias la dormida.
Some of their albums are expensive, so, a lot of people download the music by internet, it is easy but illegal. Most of their best-known songs are funny for the people.

Hi Anna,

How are you? I'm fine. I'm writing to tell you about my experience as language learner and my exams results.

I studied English in Cambridge School since I was six. There I didn't learn a lot, so this year I've changed the language school and now I'm going with a private teacher with Carla. It is more interesting than before and I learn more. The teacher doesn't speak Catalan because she is from Ireland and we always talk in English, and this is very important.

In school, English lessons are easy and funny too. The teachers are always very nice, and I always have a good time with them. Last year, the teacher was strict with us and sometimes a little bit nervous, but she was a good teacher because I learnt a lot with her. My English marks were always very good, and I want to continue like this.

Last year, I went to Dublin to learn English, but I didn’t learn a lot because the level was very low. This year, I would like to go to Australia, Florida or San Diego to learn more English, but I don't know it yet. I like English and I think that it's very important if you like travelling all over the world.

The United States

-The United Stats of America is a federal constitucional republic comprising fifty states.

- The flag of the United States of America consists of 13 equal horizontal strips of red and white, with a blue rectangle in the canton. The fifty stars on the flag represent the fifty states and the strips represent the original thirteen colonies.

- The United States became independent of Great Britain on 4th July 1776. As British people spoke English the American people took the English of Britain and now in the United States speak English. American English it isn't the same english but it's very similar.

- In New York, the World Trade Center were attacked by Al-Qaeda on 11th September 2001.

- Now the president of the United States has got a black skin. He is the first black president have ever had. Her name is Barack Obama. He always said "yes, we can" and he usually says that he has a dream.

This is a short summary of the United States.

News Report

On Tuesday my friends lost their phones in the pavilion, in London. A thief caught the phones and he run away. My friends didn't recupered her mobils and they denuncied the boy. The thief caught the phones because he want sold them.

Last Thuersday, we went to the pavilion. One of my friends had a new mobil and she was very happy with him. Suddenly, they put the phones in a lock box and they were calm because the phones were in a save place. After that, when de class finished, they went to caught their mobils but the mobils didn't stay there. They cryed a lot because the phones were new and were expensive. Later, they phoned her mums, and their mums were angry with the girls. The girls and the mums of the girls talk with the teacher and the director of the school. They know the boy who stole the phones. The boy didn't return the phones in the school, so, they wanted to reported him.

Finally, the boy was in the prision for five years. He was very sad and he said that he didn't repeat this in his life. The action that he do it isn't very good and now, he know this.

My Presentation

Hi,
My name is Anna and I'm 15 years old. My birtday is on 25 June 1993.
I usually live in a small flat in Figueres, but in summer I stay in Peralada. Peralada is better because it's bigger.
I have one sister, her name is Maria and she's 17 years old.
I have got a lot of hobbys like playing tennis or hanging out with my friends. I've been playing tennis for five years. Normally I don't have time to watch TV.
I go to the high school in Figueres, in Ramon Muntaner. My favourite subject are Maths and English. I studied English for nine years, but I'm not very good at it.
I eat healthy meals and I don't eat a lot of fast food. I love Italian food.
